There are a lot of gift ideas for this holiday. It is a tradition that during this time of the year, we give gifts to families and friends and make amends to enemies. But where does the tradition of gift-giving began? Looking back at the history of gift giving, during the birth of Jesus Christ, three wise men traveled afar to visit the young Jesus. Caspar, Balthasar and  Melchior bought gifts of myrrh, gold and frankincense, each representing the lands from where the wise men came and how it will help the child Jesus on His way to saving the mankind.

Today, gifts vary from a simple greeting card, to elaborate and expensive goods like cars. Personally, I keep it simple. A dinner with my family and friends on the Christmas eve is more than enough for me, but still, there are plenty of gifts for everyone.

I am not the person you should talk to when it comes to furniture. I mean I have absolutely no idea which wood is best for dinner tables or what fabric goes well with wicker set. To me, all tables and chairs are the same. Except of course for my bed, which is the only furniture in the house that I am capable of distinguishing differences among brands and models.

Anyway, I have been searching for a simple and space-saving dinner table for a couple of months already. I have no idea where to look for one. But my sister-in-law recommended a furniture-make a few blocks away from our house, and she said that they offer the best deals in town when it comes to customized home furniture . I never found the guy.

I am now practically desperate at this point because I really need at least one dining room furniture, considering that my living room, kitchen and dining room are all in one, well, room. I need something to distinguish which is which, considering that my apartment is so tiny, just like me. Even my bathroom is bare so I might as well find bathroom vanities in my search for the elusive dinner table. I just hope I find one soon, just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, or everyone will be sitting on the floor during dinner.

I have this terrible headache that comes and goes for a few days now. It is really annoying and irritating and if stress is not enough to drive me mad, I have got a really bad headache to go with it. Pfft.

There could be a lot of reasons why I am having this headache. My medical history dictates that I am either dealing with a lot stress, lack of sleep or my eyesight is going bad. Or a combination of those. Not that I am getting old, I mean I am still young, but working in front of three monitors at 12 hours a day (or night) at minimum is not good for my beautiful pair of eyes and whole-being. It is damaging and stressful. And being stubborn that I am, I refuse to wear prescription eyeglasses. Not for vanity reasons, I just do not like wearing them. I look, well, old. Add some stress and lack of sleep, and I got myself a vampire in the mirror.

Given the correct lens and frames, I could do away with wearing one without adding age to my face. Zenni Optical has a lot of lens and frames to choose from, so I would recommend them if you are like me who is hesitant to wear prescription glasses. Digital media is now the epitome of Information Technology since it is possible to store millions of data into a compact digital media. And people like me who consistently gather information from the Internet, storage space has become somewhat difficult to maintain. There is no (disk) space too large for me. But digital media are not meant to stay forever. We all know that. Despite consistent manufacturer claims that their DVD’s are meant to last a lifetime, they are probably talking about the physical media, not the data that it carries. I have a lot of discs that looks like it is in good working condition, but is totally unreadable by the optical drive. God knows what data is inside since I have a bad habit of not labeling the discs properly.

So what if you have an important data to recover from a defective CD or DVD? I would have probably cried myself to sleep and pray that I still have my job the next morning.
