I am not really a coffee drinker or passionate for any caffeinated drink for that matter, except if we are talking about the caffeine in chocolate bars (yum!). I just can’t stand the bitter taste of coffee because according to me, I am a super-taster. I always go for chocolatey drinks like Swiss Miss or the better alternative to coffee, green tea, served either hot, warm, cold, with or without milk.

I am also not a morning person, which basically means I hate waking up early in the morning (or evening, if I work the night shifts), and most of the time, I come to office half-asleep and cranky. Not a very good way to start my day (or night, whatever). So while I was checking stuff at
ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses, I found this caffeinated product that might actually work for me and stop my cranky morning spell!

ThinkGeek introduces the Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap, the first ever caffeine-powered soap that works while you are, well, in the shower. I love the concept because I get the caffeine without the stinky breath and bitter taste, not to mention stains in my teeth.

Shower Shock is made up of glycerine, the same ingredient found on beauty products for babies and people with hypersensitive skin (like me), so I know that this soap is gentle on my skin. The active ingredient in the soap that makes you go hyper in the shower is the caffeine anhydrous, the same ingredient found in your favorite morning coffee brew.

The Shower Shock soap comes in 4-ounce bar that lasts for 12 showers, more if you have more slender body, giving your body about 200 milligrams of caffeine with each shower. Be warned, this soap is a SOAP. It is not edible and if you are wondering how it works, the caffeine is absorbed through your skin pores so it is highly recommended that you lather up before rinsing for maximum effect!

If you don’t believe me, visit ThinkGeek’s site and see it action.

I wonder how it feels to be blasted with caffeine while you are in the shower, so I hope ThinkGeek sends me a sample product :) There are more caffein products available in their site so why don’t you check it out. ThinkGeek Caffeine
