One example is the newest airport scanner installed in 10 biggest airports in United States, which can see everything underneath the clothing. This newest piece of technology scanning machine can see right through the clothes, intimate body parts and everything.
According to USAToday.com, these body scanning machines can detect even the sweat underneath clothes. Unlike ordinary body scanning machines, this one can see plastic and creamic materials that can be used as weapons but undetectable by ordinary scanners.
The scanner is so effective and detailed, even the face and gender can be detected. The hi-tech scanner uses “millimeter waves” that copies the passenger’s body, revealing what is underneath the clothes. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) ensures that the privacy of passengers are kept private by blurring out the faces and deleting the images right after viewing.
The new whole body imaging device aims to improve security in places like airport, courthouse and border crossings.
