Yes, it is a $100 contest sponsored by Joe Tech, and definitely worth blogging about.

If you haven’t noticed, I keep on joining blog contests sponsored by more successful blogs. Not only I get a chance to win the prize, I also get ideas on how to run my own online contest. Some of the benefits of doing an online contest is having an increased traffic which basically means more readers are visiting your blog. The more people you reach with your blog, the better.

It doesn’t hurt to join and try to win a contest and obviously, there is nothing to lose. So when I found out about Joe Tech’s $100 contest, I knew I had to join (who would want to let a 100 bucks pass by? )

And just like any contest, there are rules that needs to be followed to qualify for the contest and so here are the things that must be done in order to gain entries:

- Make a comment of value (not just “i agree”, etc.) on a post = 1 entry (remember to comment on all blogs) *All websites, done!*
- Subscribe to RSS via email = 2 entries (per blog you subscribe to!) *All websites, done!*
- Write a post about the contest on your blog (must include a link to this page and the links below to participating blogs) = 25 entries *Done!*

This contest gave me an idea on how to run my own contest here so you better watch out for upcoming events here. BTW, this contest is for April only so the deadline for submission of entries is May 1 at 12:00AM.
